Agentic AI Pro‑Code Developer
Team: Agentic & Power AI
Locations: Multiple across MEA (Hybrid), all our locations
Type: Full‑time
Why this role matters
We are scaling enterprise-grade agentic AI across the Middle East and Africa. This role is for builders – engineers who turn advanced AI capabilities into secure, reliable production systems. You’ll design and ship AI agents that reason, act, integrate, automate, and deliver measurable value for our customers using the full Microsoft AI stack. You’ll work in a high-trust, low-hierarchy environment alongside our AI strategists and consultants to convert high-value use cases into deployed solutions.
What you will build
Production AI agents using Foundry Agent Service: multi-agent workflows, hosted agents, built-in memory, observability, identity integration, and deployment capabilities.
Knowledge-grounded experiences with Foundry IQ and Azure AI Search, using vector, hybrid, and enterprise-permissioned retrieval techniques.
Tool-using agents that execute secure actions via Model Context Protocol (MCP), Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and custom APIs.
Model-optimized applications using Foundry Models and the model router to balance quality, latency, and cost.
Enterprise-safe systems with guardrails such as prompt shielding, groundedness checks, and content-safety enforcement.
Reusable assets (connectors, orchestrations, toolkits, evaluation templates) to accelerate future projects.
What you will do
Translate business opportunities into robust agent architectures.
Build pro-code AI agents using Python or .NET with the Microsoft Agent Framework.
Implement multi-agent orchestration with planning, routing, and human-in-the-loop capabilities.
Ground agents on enterprise knowledge using Azure AI Search and Foundry IQ.
Apply identity, governance, and observability principles via Foundry’s control plane.
Design automated evaluation, telemetry, safety, and continuous improvement pipelines.
Package reusable frameworks and components that accelerate delivery across MEA.
Mandatory requirements
Strong software engineering skills in Python or .NET, including modern cloud-integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry (projects, SDKs, models, model router, hosted agents, Foundry tools).
Ability to build complete agentic workflows in Foundry Agent Service, including tool invocation and deployment.
Deep understanding of Azure AI Search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns (vector, hybrid, multimodal retrieval).
Practical experience implementing AI safety features: prompt shields, groundedness checks, and sensitive-content filters.
Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools, and secure enterprise integrations.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and permissions, as well as enterprise governance best practices.
GitHub Copilot proficiency: daily use for coding, debugging, refactoring, and documentation tasks.
Ability to use GitHub Copilot Chat effectively during development.
Experience with GitHub Copilot Enterprise or GitHub Copilot for Business in collaborative workflows.
Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and comfort with telemetry, evaluation metrics, and iterative development.
Nice to have
Experience extending Microsoft 365 Copilot with custom agents, plugins, or connectors.
Familiarity with Prompt Flow for rapid prototyping and evaluation of LLM applications.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365, ServiceNow, and/or SAP integration patterns.
Kubernetes experience for container orchestration and scaling of custom agent runtimes.
